How to Keep a Mermaid in Your Bathroom

The Arcade is most likely both my favorite event, and my banks least favorite event. I think I did ok limiting myself until I decided to try to complete the aquarium from [Con.]. In all I was lucky to get what I wanted most and a few things for friends. How was your luck this time around?

In other news, there is a mermaid in my bathroom. We found her while using the submarine from tarte., brought her home and let her use the bathtub. We also moved the Aquarium in by her so she would feel more at home with her fish friends. (Yeah I am weird its ok.) I think she likes the bathroom…or maybe its all the cookies I keep feeding her.

This past weekend I visited the Funny Puppet Fair, as I wandered around I realized there was a hunt as well, and I can not resist a hunt. After finding numerous prizes I had to leave, and then promptly forgot to open anything and look at my Bounty. So that is what I am doing today, and sharing as well. As soon as I put this dress on from Lugoi Devotion I loved it. I feel like a cross between Raggedy Ann and Woodland Fairy (that may just be the hair though).

Most of what is in this picture is from the hunt at Funny Puppet Fair, and this is not all i found AND I did not even find everything. I definitely recommend visiting. (Plus the sim is just to cute.)

First Train Out

I have always been a rather single-minded individual,(in some things). Even in my day-to-day every day life I tend to be a person that has a few close friends and a lot of acquaintances. That is why the Blog meme from Strawberry Singh was so interesting to me. This meme also was a bit eye-opening as well, while answering the questions I have come to realize I have a pretty awesome circle of good and close friends.

Of course who would I be and where would I have ended up without my best friend, my sisserface. She rescued me from noob land a few weeks into my SLife and bought me my first non noob outfit (which i still have). No post or discussion about friends and friends lists would be complete without my Sister, so who better to drag to a train station for a picture and make give me a list of what she is wearing. (Love ya Sisserface :D)

75 😀 (and that is a lot for me)

Extremely, I rarely accept a request unless they have AT LEAST said hi, the only exception is friends of friends…and even then >.>

Berry o.o (aka Strawberry Singh)…everyone else in the PLurk was adding her…I wanted in on the fun

To some degree yes, some more than others (those I do not really know tend to get kicked off during my frequent purges)

On a Weekly Basis around 10 (it has been more but there has been a shift in where I spend most of my time)
There are Four people I will see every day no matter what…even if I have to hunt them down >.<

…Really anyone on my list that I do not know well…I only add people I am interested in knowing 🙂 At this moment my two newest are Scarlet and Berry…they were fully warned what I was capable of before accepting my request…I swear >.>

Oh goodnes…I like to surround myself with funny people…so most of my friends are. My sisserface can cheer me up no matter what, but all my friends are a tad off…thats what makes them like me.

Most people I have met through other friends or family, some just from randomly Iming cause their profiles amused me while waiting for stores to rezz…you know,…the usual.

Yes, a lot.

It took a few days but I managed to make it into Collabor88 and am so excited to gush about my finds. A few things I am still undecided on, such as the “”D!va”” Hair “Yuko”. Although I love the wisps of free-spirited hair and the style is adorable and exactly what I look for, I am OCD about how the hair-line looks…and I struggled…Alot. What I am totally sold on are these shoes from Hucci, unique color options plus lets me show off my slink Nails and feet, the Bow is just icing on the cake. Below I added a photo of the hair more from the front, to show you the full style. Is there any characteristic of a hair (or any piece of clothing or accessory) that makes the difference between “the one you never wear” or “the one you never take off”?

I also browsed the Family Flea Market with a friend and found some MORE cute stuff. [Atooly]  currently has these Summer Flower Earrings available at the Family Flea Market, I do not think these pictures do them justice though so I will have to wear them again with hair that shows them off.

All in all I feel pretty accomplished…for a saturday.

Fluttering Hearts

I feel like such a real blogger, I have finally completed a “meme” or challenge. This weeks challenge from Strawberry Singh was to Blog a picture with our favorite, or variety of favorite colors. Now that is something I can totally appricate, as it gives me an excuse to wear as many bright colors as I possibly can. I pulled Havyen along with me because the suits available at the current Mens Dept are to eye popping to pass up. I even made sure and got a full frontal shot just so you could enjoy the nice Pink shirt. I really love all colors, in this photo I made sure and included three of my favorite, Pink, Purple, and Aqua. Now the suit claims to be Cyan but…I have a hard time with my blues so it is close enough for me.

My first blog challenge was hoping to be one of those “perfect” pictures but alas, was not meant to be. After multiple sims that I could not rezz a pose at and then multiple poses that hated my dress, I finally just picked my favorite and decided to pretend my dress has pockets. Whats the fun if you do not have any imagination?

Snuggle Time

Are these not the cutest little snuggle buddies ever? I fell in love at first screenshot. I think they are my new Second Life love…seriously, I think Moose just became my new favorite animal.

I also hit up Collabor88 before it ends this month….you know cause I have not spent enough L’s from my piggy bank this past month. I love hair that comes with accessories that fit it, so this adorable TRUTH HAIR was a must grab. And what better color for spring and summer than a nice bright yellow. Rain, Rain Go Away

Spring is one of my favorite seasons, mostly because I prefer mild temperatures to extreme hot or cold. But I also enjoy the flowers and sunshine and yes, even the rain. What better way to celebrate Spring then a walk in the rain, unfortunately my umbrella wanted to fly away.

The Power of Titles

 

I find it amazing the difference a few words and some black and white filtering can do. When I started taking the pictures in today’s post I started with an idea that was a bit sad, but then it was so bright and cheerful at the sim I could not help but feel happy and cheerful. So I did two versions, yes this is the same indecision that results in my excessive inventory. The above photo is entitled “Let me be your Anchor” while the lower is “Who am I to hold you Down”. I love how pictures can tell stories and I really love how the story can change with just a few simple words.

Shopping is really too much fun…it also gets me into trouble. But I really do need new accessories for my clothes, and then new clothes for the accessories, and maybe a new pair of shoes.

I poofed into a few events this week that I had never before attended and was once again amazed by all the sheer gorgeous things out there. Hold On Tight
