In Sunshine or In Shadow

I have been enjoying some pixel Beach time (thanks to many of items available at the upcoming Save the Date event). I managed to shove all of my beach bound gear into the funky messenger bag from Yasum and started out for some beach fun. After giving my new pet whale (part of the Sunshine set from [Fetch] ) a pat on the head.

After soaking up plenty of Pixel Sunshine, it seemed only fitting to relax indoors and eat some ice cream. Which I shared with my pet whale, I can not decide on a name for him though. I am thinking Fred, but then again, maybe the whale is a girl?

Down We Go

Down We Go, to another land, hopefully with cookies and gummibears.

The new pose from [Atooly] made me giggle the first time I played with the poses, whimsical and fun is how I would describe it. It makes me think of Alice in Wonderland (which I am sure is the point) and so I wanted to do a picture somewhat like Alice in Wonderland, but not entirely. I love the clothing from that period but I am nothing if not different, so although I wanted Victorian style clothing I did not want it to be to similar to the original Alice. Thankfully the answer came in the form of the Marquise boots from lassitude & ennui, which are available at the We ❤ RP event. I can not get enough of their adorable uniqueness. (Yes I am still wearing them, no I am not promising to take them off anytime soon)

Of course everyone needs to see a closer version of the boots.

Boring How People Talk

What is summer without a trip to the beach? I talked a friend into hitting the beach at the Black Basalt Beach sim and trying the “Beach Time” pose from Atooly. Unfortunately he decided a game of keep away was in order, just because I am shorter than he is. I love seeing what environment settings various sims use and how they add to their set up. Even more than windlights, I adore pretty places that allow me to rezz poses (even  if I have to pay for the group). Black Basalt Beach has a not small joining fee, but after multiple beach sims that did not allow rezz rights, I was very willing.

Sometimes I just want to take a picture that is different. Sometimes there is a reason and sometimes it is just because I feel like trying something different. First Train Out

I have always been a rather single-minded individual,(in some things). Even in my day-to-day every day life I tend to be a person that has a few close friends and a lot of acquaintances. That is why the Blog meme from Strawberry Singh was so interesting to me. This meme also was a bit eye-opening as well, while answering the questions I have come to realize I have a pretty awesome circle of good and close friends.

Of course who would I be and where would I have ended up without my best friend, my sisserface. She rescued me from noob land a few weeks into my SLife and bought me my first non noob outfit (which i still have). No post or discussion about friends and friends lists would be complete without my Sister, so who better to drag to a train station for a picture and make give me a list of what she is wearing. (Love ya Sisserface :D)

75 😀 (and that is a lot for me)

Extremely, I rarely accept a request unless they have AT LEAST said hi, the only exception is friends of friends…and even then >.>

Berry o.o (aka Strawberry Singh)…everyone else in the PLurk was adding her…I wanted in on the fun

To some degree yes, some more than others (those I do not really know tend to get kicked off during my frequent purges)

On a Weekly Basis around 10 (it has been more but there has been a shift in where I spend most of my time)
There are Four people I will see every day no matter what…even if I have to hunt them down >.<

…Really anyone on my list that I do not know well…I only add people I am interested in knowing 🙂 At this moment my two newest are Scarlet and Berry…they were fully warned what I was capable of before accepting my request…I swear >.>

Oh goodnes…I like to surround myself with funny people…so most of my friends are. My sisserface can cheer me up no matter what, but all my friends are a tad off…thats what makes them like me.

Most people I have met through other friends or family, some just from randomly Iming cause their profiles amused me while waiting for stores to rezz…you know,…the usual.

Fluttering Hearts

I feel like such a real blogger, I have finally completed a “meme” or challenge. This weeks challenge from Strawberry Singh was to Blog a picture with our favorite, or variety of favorite colors. Now that is something I can totally appricate, as it gives me an excuse to wear as many bright colors as I possibly can. I pulled Havyen along with me because the suits available at the current Mens Dept are to eye popping to pass up. I even made sure and got a full frontal shot just so you could enjoy the nice Pink shirt. I really love all colors, in this photo I made sure and included three of my favorite, Pink, Purple, and Aqua. Now the suit claims to be Cyan but…I have a hard time with my blues so it is close enough for me.

My first blog challenge was hoping to be one of those “perfect” pictures but alas, was not meant to be. After multiple sims that I could not rezz a pose at and then multiple poses that hated my dress, I finally just picked my favorite and decided to pretend my dress has pockets. Whats the fun if you do not have any imagination?

Seeing Red

I love every excuse for a shopping trip, so when I was invited to a Formal Gothic event I was excited. As mentioned before I tend to end up with outfits that can be described as “cute” or “pretty” no matter what look I was attempting. I think I managed to get a bit of a Gothic look going with out to much “cutesy”. I also Adore when I find new stores, and this dress came from a store I previously had never visited. Not only are the clothes to “die” for, but the shop itself is very unique. I can not wait until the next time I need a fancy dress!

Oh, no I never got over those blues eyes

I debated posting about the wonders available at this months COLLABOR88 , even though it is almost over, but decided that the cute Julianna Dress from Tee*fy was to cute not to wear. Of course i am nothing if not a bit…different, so i paired my dress with a pair of punk pants that have been floating around in my inventory for an undetermined length of time. This little ensemble seemed like the perfect excuse to see if _CandyDoll_ and any new releases. They have not one but three new releases since the last time i was able to check. My piggy bank is currently hiding from me. And since i bought new shoes i thought whats the harm in seeing if Magika has new hair as well. I am my own worse enemy, but shopping really is so fun it is worth it.

Randomly I found that pic-monkey (the photo editor i use most) has an option to lighten eyes, something i wish i had found last week. The eyes in this picture started out a bit more purplish but unfortunately did not stand out from the eyeliner. Trying to lighten them i managed to get this bright blue, that i loved to much to not use. What do you think about editing tools that completely change the look of what your wearing?

My Lucky Penny and I

Sometimes you just need a little extra inspiration for a post. The other day I found that in a  child avatar pose, so I wrangled my little sister Starrz into a photo shoot and bribed her with lots of cookies to hold still.

Although I adore mesh and I find child avatars rather cute, mesh child avatars seem to have a long way to go. The idea behind them are awesome, mesh has done so much for second life,but it seems to be lagging in this area. I can not wait to see what new and exciting things come out and am hoping to be totally surprised by the sheer awesomeness.

Baby Its Cold

I love watching snow falling, as long as I do not have to go out into it. The best part about winter and snow is sweaters…and BOOTS!
