Dark Alleys and Darker Hearts
Getting outside of the same old box is good for you sometimes. I managed to make it to Hair Fair before it ended and picked up a hair very different from my normal style. Made me feel rather Punk, so that is what I went with. Match it with a leather dress from *FASHIONNATIC* and some boots from _CandyDoll_ and I felt confident that I would blend in a dark, graffiti alley. But I took a bodyguard with me in case.

In Sunshine or In Shadow
I have been enjoying some pixel Beach time (thanks to many of items available at the upcoming Save the Date event). I managed to shove all of my beach bound gear into the funky messenger bag from Yasum and started out for some beach fun. After giving my new pet whale (part of the Sunshine set from [Fetch] ) a pat on the head.
After soaking up plenty of Pixel Sunshine, it seemed only fitting to relax indoors and eat some ice cream. Which I shared with my pet whale, I can not decide on a name for him though. I am thinking Fred, but then again, maybe the whale is a girl?

I have managed to lose not one, but two pairs of sunglasses today. (I am sure you spot the first right away, but can you spot the second? Hint: I always forget to pick things up after I knock them off the table)

Down We Go
Down We Go, to another land, hopefully with cookies and gummibears.
The new pose from [Atooly] made me giggle the first time I played with the poses, whimsical and fun is how I would describe it. It makes me think of Alice in Wonderland (which I am sure is the point) and so I wanted to do a picture somewhat like Alice in Wonderland, but not entirely. I love the clothing from that period but I am nothing if not different, so although I wanted Victorian style clothing I did not want it to be to similar to the original Alice. Thankfully the answer came in the form of the Marquise boots from lassitude & ennui, which are available at the We ❤ RP event. I can not get enough of their adorable uniqueness. (Yes I am still wearing them, no I am not promising to take them off anytime soon)
Of course everyone needs to see a closer version of the boots.

Boring How People Talk
What is summer without a trip to the beach? I talked a friend into hitting the beach at the Black Basalt Beach sim and trying the “Beach Time” pose from Atooly. Unfortunately he decided a game of keep away was in order, just because I am shorter than he is. I love seeing what environment settings various sims use and how they add to their set up. Even more than windlights, I adore pretty places that allow me to rezz poses (even if I have to pay for the group). Black Basalt Beach has a not small joining fee, but after multiple beach sims that did not allow rezz rights, I was very willing.

How to Keep a Mermaid in Your Bathroom
The Arcade is most likely both my favorite event, and my banks least favorite event. I think I did ok limiting myself until I decided to try to complete the aquarium from [Con.]. In all I was lucky to get what I wanted most and a few things for friends. How was your luck this time around?
In other news, there is a mermaid in my bathroom. We found her while using the submarine from tarte., brought her home and let her use the bathtub. We also moved the Aquarium in by her so she would feel more at home with her fish friends. (Yeah I am weird its ok.) I think she likes the bathroom…or maybe its all the cookies I keep feeding her.

Sometimes I just want to take a picture that is different. Sometimes there is a reason and sometimes it is just because I feel like trying something different. You see I’ve forgotten
This past weekend I visited the Funny Puppet Fair, as I wandered around I realized there was a hunt as well, and I can not resist a hunt. After finding numerous prizes I had to leave, and then promptly forgot to open anything and look at my Bounty. So that is what I am doing today, and sharing as well. As soon as I put this dress on from Lugoi Devotion I loved it. I feel like a cross between Raggedy Ann and Woodland Fairy (that may just be the hair though).
Most of what is in this picture is from the hunt at Funny Puppet Fair, and this is not all i found AND I did not even find everything. I definitely recommend visiting. (Plus the sim is just to cute.)
